Adrienne Krause: Therapy & Counselling for Individuals and couples: Calgary AB/ Moh’kinsstis
“You’re mad, bonkers, completely off your head. But I’ll tell you a secret. All the best people are.”
― Lewis Carroll

I am of the belief that people need people. I offer individual counselling (ages 14+), and couples counselling. If you need someone who is authentic and understanding, works to establish true connection, and who invites laughter alongside tears into the therapy space, I’m your person.
My goal is to find out what a full and meaningful life looks like to you, and to help empower you to live a life that reflects this understanding. I will walk with you through the stories of who you are, and how you came to be. This could include trauma, family/relationship difficulties, neurodivergence, parenting, and other experiences related to mental health and well-being.
I live by philosophies of humanism, intersectionality, feminism, and non-judgement. My approach to therapy is attachment-based, emotionally-focused, and trauma aware. I believe that therapy isn’t one size fits all and tailor my approach based off my experience and understanding of you as an individual, as well as collaboration with you on what most meets your needs.
Therapeutic modalities I offer include EMDR, CBT, ACT, and MBCT, amongst others..
I am a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. I hold a Masters of Art Degree in Counselling Psychology, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a focus in family and gender studies.
